A military vehicle that rolled onto its side is blocking most northbound Interstate 5 lanes in Federal Way Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Only the left northbound HOV lane, south of 272nd Street, was open as of 12:30 p.m., causing traffic to back up about two miles, the Washington Department of Transportation said.
No serious injuries were reported, Trooper Rick Johnson said in a post on X. No other details were immediately available.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
