Chicago officials on scene of Chicago River near Michigan Avenue recovering body, officials said

The Chicago Fire Department and the Chicago Police Department were working to recover a body Friday morning from the Chicago River near Michigan Avenue, officials said.

Authorities were alerted shortly before 10 a.m..
