A 9,633-square-foot mansion in Glencoe sold on Jan. 23 in an off-market transaction for $8.2 million, making it the Chicago area’s second-highest sale price so far this year.
Located at the end of a cul-de-sac and adjoining Glencoe’s Perlman Boating Beach, the two-story, modern English country-style mansion was built in 2001 and has four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms and three fireplaces. It sits on a 1.13-acre property.
Because the mansion was listed off-market, further details about it were not available.
The buyer of the mansion in January is an opaque land trust whose beneficiary Elite Street could not determine.
The Chicago area’s highest-priced sale so far this year has been a $9.3 million condo sale on the Gold Coast.
